TRADITIONAL HAND MADE KNIVES

FROM LAGUIOLE, FRANCE

Exclusively from culinary equipment company

The Laguiole knife is the result of a near 200 year handcrafted tradition from the town of Laguiole, France.

The knife was originally inspired by the Spanish “Navaja” knives that farmers brought back as souvenirs from their winter trips. Local farmers, cutlers and tinkers started making their own version of this handy folding knife. Thus creating what is known today as the Laguiole, a distinct folding knife with the signature bee decoration. [These became so popular that the region eventually became known for these beautiful pieces.]
